Springfield M-14
The M-14 was a very accurate arm, with its powerful .308(7.62x51) round. It is still used only in special ops units. You can find this rifle in most vietnam movies and also in black hawk down.
Colt AR15A2
The AR-15A2, also known as the M4 was used by many special ops units, such as the green berets and delta force. The AR-15A2 Is a cutdown version of the M-16 firing the same .223(5.56x45)round. You can find this arms in many movies that involve special forces units.
Colt M-16A2
This is your classic battle rifle. Every standard soldier today carries this rifle. It fires in semi or three shot burst. The M-16A2 if found in almost every modern day war movie
M1 Garand, Carbine, and Johnson rifle
These 3 rifles were all created around WW2. The top rifle in the picture is the M1 Garand firing the 30-06(7.62x63mm).Then one of the more odd rifles is the Johnson semi-auto firing it 30-06(7.62x63). Then the M1 Carbine firing a .30carbine(7.62x33mm).

M-240
The M-240 was recently introduced into the US military to replace the M-60. The M-240 fires the same .308(7.62x51mm) round. M-240 is also said to be more reliable than the M-60.
M-60
M-60 machine gun was first introduced in the vietnam war, but is still used in the us military. The M-60 weighs 23lbs., and fires the .308(7.62x51mm).
